Bike U Lock

It’s said that a lock will only keep the honest people honest. In my life I’ve lost at least 25 bikes and motorcycles, so let’s look at Onguard Bike Locks.

The Armored Cable series the “Rottweiler” has several to choose from. They range in sizes from .079″ diameter to 1.18″, and lengths from 2.59′ all the way up to 7.13″. They all have a dual bolt mechanism and twisted steel cable that they protect with steel links

If a disk lock is more your style they have three styles and several models in each style to pick from. In the Boxer series there are stapler type locks that have an ultra hard steel pin that is operated by a touch lock system , an ultra hardened shackle with the x4 locking. Plus a Boxer that has an alarm, it has an ultra-hardened 10mm steel pin and a motion sensor, it is also touch lock system.

The chain lock category has the “Beast” and the “Mastiff” series. The beast, being the heavier of the two, is a 11-14mm titanium reinforces steel chain with hex type links. The Specific locks vary with the type chain used, but the x2 double bolt lock, the x2 dual power lock, and the x4 quatro bolt locking systems are offered.

The Mastiff, from the above category, is a lighter chain and lock system with the chain ranging from 8 to 10mm, made from titanium reinforced steel, and has hexagonal links, or square links. It offers different locks though, a steel ball click system is used on one model, an x2 power dual locking system, and an x4 quatro bolt system.
